— Ten Wings

Great indeed is the originating power of the Creative — all things owe their beginning to it. It rules the heavens; clouds form, rain falls, and all beings take shape.

天行健，君子以自强不息。

Heaven moves with vigorous, unceasing strength. The superior person, observing this, makes themselves strong and tireless.

潜龙，勿用。
The hidden dragon. Do not act.
Latent capacity not yet ready for the world. Stay submerged, build mastery in private, refuse the temptation of early visibility.
Nine in the second · 九二 ⚊ yang
见龙在田，利见大人。
The dragon appears in the field. It is beneficial to see a great person.
Talent emerges and receives first validation. Seek mentors, key partners, or industry sponsors to amplify momentum.
Nine in the third · 九三 ⚊ yang
君子终日乾乾，夕惕若，厉，无咎。
All day long the superior person is creatively active. At nightfall their mind is still beset by cares. Danger. No blame.
Visibility brings scrutiny and stress. Sustained discipline plus vigilant self-review converts exposure into resilience.
Nine in the fourth · 九四 ⚊ yang
或跃在渊，无咎。
Wavering flight over the depths. No blame.
A leap to a higher level is in question. Both advance and restraint are defensible — let proven competence decide.
Nine in the fifth · 九五 ⚊ yang
飞龙在天，利见大人。
The flying dragon in the heavens. It is beneficial to see a great person.
Full realization in the rightful position. Activate the ecosystem, deploy authority responsibly, surround yourself with talent.
Nine at the top · 上九 ⚊ yang
亢龙有悔。
The arrogant dragon will have cause to regret.
Power has overshot capacity. Hubris, overextension, and loss of feedback loops invite collapse.

Founder-mode or disruptive technology breakthrough. The signature trap is overconfidence after a winning streak; risk planning for 'arrogant dragon' must begin while you are still the 'flying dragon'.

High-agency, high-achievement personality. Watch for perfectionism, overcontrol, and burnout — heroic self-image is the very thing that produces collapse at line six.

Decision Guidance
