Fire in heaven above: the image of possession in great measure. Thus the superior person curbs evil and furthers good, and obeys the benevolent will of heaven.

无交害，匪咎，艰则无咎。
No relations with what is harmful. No blame. If one remains aware of difficulty, one remains without blame.
At the start of wealth, refuse to consort with corrupting forces. Keep difficulty in mind and you keep faith.
Nine in the second · 九二
⚊ yang
大车以载，有攸往，无咎。
A big wagon for loading. One may undertake something. No blame.
Mature managerial capacity to bear large loads — go ahead and undertake.
Nine in the third · 九三
⚊ yang
公用亨于天子，小人弗克。
A prince offers it to the Son of Heaven. A petty person cannot do this.
The noble offers wealth upward to public purposes (taxes, social responsibility). The small-minded cannot conceive of this scale.

匪其彭，无咎。
He makes a difference between himself and his neighbor. No blame.
Wealthy yet discreet. Restraint from ostentation preserves goodwill.
Six in the fifth · 六五
⚋ yin
厥孚交如，威如，吉。
His sincerity touches with confidence, and one is dignified. Good fortune.
From a gentle high seat: bind people with sincerity and quiet authority. Trust and respect together.
Nine at the top · 上九
⚊ yang
自天祐之，吉无不利。
He is blessed by heaven. Good fortune. Nothing that does not further.
Faithful, humble, honoring the worthy — heaven itself supports the venture. Nothing is unfavorable.
