The standard is changing. Steadfastness brings good fortune. To go out the door in company produces deeds.
Be willing to change posts and conventions. Cross the threshold; broad outside contact produces real work.

系小子，失丈夫。
Cleaving to the small boy, one loses the strong man.
Chasing minor short-term gains, one forfeits the long-game strategic ally.

系丈夫，失小子。随有求得，利居贞。
Cleaving to the strong man, one loses the small boy. Through following one finds what one seeks. It furthers one to remain steadfast.
Choosing depth over breadth — drop the low-yield network, follow the figure of real altitude.
Nine in the fourth · 九四
⚊ yang
随有获，贞凶。有孚在道，以明，何咎。
Following creates success. Steadfastness brings misfortune. To go one's way with sincerity brings clarity. How could there be blame in this?
Gain from following can corrupt; only sincerity and clarity keep it clean.
Nine in the fifth · 九五
⚊ yang
孚于嘉，吉。
Sincere in the good. Good fortune.
Faith placed in what is genuinely excellent.
Six at the top · 上六
⚋ yin
拘系之，乃从维之。王用亨于西山。
He meets with firm allegiance and is still further bound. The king introduces him to the western mountain.
Bound to the cause with reverence — like the king's ceremony at the western mountain. Devotion at its mature form.
