The wind blows over the earth: the image of contemplation. Thus the kings of old visited the regions of the world, contemplated the people, and gave them instruction.

A child's view is fine for a child; for one with responsibility, it is failure.

Narrow, peeping view — only the inwardly cloistered may legitimately see this little.

Contemplation of my life. The superior person is without blame.
From the seat of power, continually reflect on how your own conduct shapes the people. Self-audit is duty.

Contemplation of his life. The superior person is without blame.
All eyes are now on the example; conduct must bear the weight of constant observation.
